I take pride in the quality of the products I sell, and as a direct result, offer a 30-Day money back guarantee on all sales.  If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it within 30 days of purchase or shipment for a 100% refund.  

Some specialized hardware may be excluded and will be marked accordingly.  This will apply to anything being sold “as is”,  for parts or rebuilding.

All merchandise must be returned to The iGeek in the condition they were received, in the original packaging, along with any other items that were included in the sale (media, documentation, etc.).  A full refund may not be given if scratches or damages are present on laptop or desktop.

90-Day Product Warranty

The iGeek warrants to the original purchaser that any hardware will be free of defects and in the condition described in the sale for the 90-day warranty period, which is measured from the date of purchase or shipment.  During the warranty period, if a covered product is proven to be defective in workmanship or materials, The iGeek will work with you to solve the problem.  Depending on the situation the iGeek will either replace or repair the defective components or replace the product with a comparable product.  

 

Replacement parts and products will be new, serviceably used, or refurbished and will be comparable in function and performance to the original part or product.  All replacements will be warranted for the longer of fourteen days or the remainder of the applicable warranty period. 

 

Please note, this product warranty does not cover:

       - Software, including the operating system as well as any third party software

       - Product that has been damaged through misuse, abuse or mishandling, including without limitation the unauthorized modification of the system as a whole or any individual component, and/or the attachment of any peripheral devices; product not purchased through The iGeek; or paint or finish

       - Product that has been damaged beyond the iGeek’s control, including for example, impacts, liquid, fire or similar disaster

 

If it is determined that the problem with the product is not covered by the product warranty, The iGeek will work with you to inform you of alternative solutions that may be available to you on a fee-for-service basis.

How will The iGeek fix a defective, warranted product?

First, I will attempt to diagnose and resolve the problem through a support case.  If it is determined that the problem is with a defective component covered by your warranty, then I will decide to either have you return your product for repair or replacement; or send you a component part to replace the defective component.  If you need any assistance installing replacement parts or components I will be happy to do it for you in person, through return shipping of the original computer, or assist via email or phone support for no charge.

Original shipping and handling fees are not refundable.  Return shipping and any applicable charges are the responsibility of the customer.  You must also insure the return shipment or accept the risk of loss or damage during shipment.

Important Note: Before returning any product, be sure to back up all of your data on the hard drive(s) and any other storage device(s) and remove any CDs, USB drives, etc.  This will ensure none of your important data is lost or damaged.  I can assist with the back-up process if needed.
